Joining Oppex platform
Introduction
Welcome to Oppex! Oppex is an Incident Management platform that helps you manage the lifecycle of production incidents and alert the on-call users and teams as per your configured requirements. This document provides a quick overview of the capabilities of the platform. It introduces you on how to get onboarded to the platform and use it effectively.
Signing up and updating your profile
A colleague can invite you to the Oppex platform (or an Oppex team member, if you are the first user from your organization being invited to the platform). When a new user is invited to join Oppex, they receive an email with a signup link to create their account.
Step 1: A colleague invites you to the Oppex platform.

Step 2: Complete Signup
Click on the invite link, fill up the form and signup to your Oppex account. Remember to do this within 7 days of receiving the invite so that your invite does not expire.

Step 3: Complete your profile
Open Profile Settings by clicking on the Profile Icon and choosing profile settings in the top right corner. Update your contact number in your profile settings. This is important for you to receive a call from us when you are added to on-call.

FAQ
I didn't receive my invitation email
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Ask your Oppex admin to verify the invite was sent to the correct email address.
- Ask them to click Resend Invite from the Users page.
If you still don't receive it, contact support at support@oppex.ai.
My invitation link has expired
Invitation links are valid for 7 days. If yours has expired:
- Ask your Oppex admin to go to Settings → Users.
- Find your name in the Pending Invitations list.
- Click the three-dot menu → Resend Invite.
Can I change the email address I sign up with?
No. Your Oppex account is tied to the email address the invitation was sent to. If you need to use a different email, ask your admin to cancel the current invite and send a new one to your preferred address.
What role will I have after joining?
Your role is set by the admin who invited you. The default role for new invites is Responder. Your admin can change your role at any time from Settings → Users.
